The Dilemma of Bisexual DatingIt can be difficult to find suitable dates in our modern, busy times. Maybe that is why so many singles go online to find love. Depending on the person, the quest for love can take different directions. The idea is that positive, consensual sexual companionship is acceptable, regardless of sexual preferences. But there are many men and women who feel a sexual interest both for the opposite sex, as well as in those of their own sex. For these bisexuals, there is a desire to be open about their sexual inclinations so a prospective partner would know about them beforehand. As bisexuals interviewed in a recent article pointed out, both men and women, whether straight or homosexual, are apprehensive of someone whose sexuality spans both genders. Bisexuality could come just as naturally to some as homosexuality or heterosexuality, but a lot of people are uncomfortable with a bisexual partner, perhaps because to them it signifies a betrayal at a basic level. Bisexuals thus sometimes find themselves in need of explaining themselves when they meet a new date interest. Bisexuals know of these concerns and often wish to let the truth be known while looking for a partner. Such honesty is rather refreshing and should be welcomed. But some personals sites do not have a separate category or area for bisexuals and posting a personal ad professing bisexuality usually gets immediately rejected by the dating services, citing how bisexuality may conflict with their anti-cheating policy. It's a conundrum with an ironic twist. As a bisexual, you may have to swallow the dishonesty pill to participate in the world of dating online.
